Dr. Ali Ko, the NYC area director gave a talk on missions at Chinese Evangel Mission Church of Queens (http://cem.xboxplayer.com) where council member, Dr. Elaine Eng, attends service. Located at 203-10 Rocky Hill Rd., Bayside, Queens 11361, the church is led by Pastor George Ibach, whose daughter Michaela leads the CMDA fellowship at the New Jersey Med. Dr. Ko gave her talk at the 9:30 am service, highlighting missions trips to New Orleans, Pakistan, and Morocco as well as the events through which God brought her to her position as the area director for Greater NYC. She encouraged both physicians and non-physicians to serve in the missions field, citing Acts 2:42-47 as her personal encouragement to seek the Lord’s will and to lead others to become saved.
