The first Attendings gathering in 2009 was organized by Drs. Elaine Eng & Olympia Kovich.  Over twelve attendings, both from the dental and medicine side, attended.  A devotional was led by Dr. Meredith Hawkins, about Prayer to the Great Physician, and communal prayer was done in the ACTS fashion: adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication.  A potluck dinner filled the bellies of all.  Thanks to all those who participated and organized this event!  The next gathering will be for the Embattled Physicians Conference on March 21st.  Directly following the conference will be the senior commissioning ceremony.  If you would like to attend future attending gatherings, please get in touch with the NYC Area Director, Dr. Alice Ko (aka Ali Tsai).
