One last note!
This year we are trying to arrange a chartered bus to and from the retreat. This bus will make it easier to travel for everyone and it’s also a great opportunity for fellowship! Please sign up here! Once we have an estimate of how many people are interested, we will send more information about cost, time, and location. We will then send another form to sign up, so be on the lookout for that. Please respond by December 15th so we can do all of this in a timely fashion.
Hope everyone is enjoying their break.

Another fabulous resident, Erin Kil (Dermatology @ St. Luke’s-Roosevelt) hosted this residents & fellows gathering – a testament to God’s continued faithfulness…
Join us for food, fellowship, and prayer as we continue to build one another up and share our stories of how He continues to be our ultimate hope. If you would like to be invited this or future Residents/Fellows gatherings, please contact the NYC Area Director.

Five residents/fellows and an equal number of attendings attended this recent gathering hosted by Mike and Rennie Rhee (PGY-4 Physiatry at Kessler & PGY-1 Medicine at NYU). We were glad to welcome newcomers, both attendings and a resident, from the Bronx. An amazing spread of soba noodle salad, three incredibly large platters of sushi, and fried rice were enjoyed by those present. Worship was led by the hosts, and we discussed how to listen to God’s will as well as how to remain faithful when God’s voice is not clear to us.

Rebekah Kim hosted this rotating monthly event at her apartment in Midtown West. Ten residents, four attendings, and one office manager attended this gathering. Worship inspired all those present and was followed by sharing testimonies of how God has been faithful in our lives. We ended with prayer and eating Peking duck sandwiches, rice crepes, salad, brownies, and cheesecake. Thank you, Rebekah, for hosting and for leading such wonderful worship!

Nitya Abraham held a fruitful meeting for residents at her home at which food, drink, and prayer provided. NYU, St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, Cornell, Mt. Sinai, and Kessler were represented with the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, PM&R, Otolaryngology, Dermatology, and Urology. Interesting topics such as how to incorporate your faith into your work, our most difficult consults, and how Jesus resembled a typical resident were discussed. Thank you, Nitya, for your hospitality!
