- Why?
-Providing healthcare and meeting the spiritual needs of Haitians in under served areas – specifically through providing health screenings, treatment, health education, and preventative health care.
- To encourage and care for members of the church body in Haiti.
- For participants (students and professionals) to grow in a relationship with Christ as they experience the power of God in a cross-cultural setting.

Medmissions is an Evangelical Christian mission organization that sponsors numerous short term missions trip every year. Their goal is not only to promote and support medical, dental, optometric outreaches to medical under-served areas, but also to connect people who want to change the world for Christ. - What? Medical Outreach (Clinic)
- Medical, dental, optometrical, preventative health, evangelism
- Non-medical personnel run the pharmacy, run the eye clinic, help with dental cleaning/sterilization, share the gospel
- 1st & 2nd year students shadow attending physicians, run the pharmacy, run the eye clinic, help with dental cleaning/sterilization, share the gospel
- 3rd & 4th year students see patients, share the gospel
- Residents see patients, share the gospel
- Attendings see patients, supervise medical students and residents, share the gospel
- How Much? Estimated cost = $1,600 [$850/person + plane ticket (app. $750/person)]
The $850 includes everything for the trip including food, lodging, medicines, dental supplies, optometric equipment, Christian literature, and in-country transportation. Details of support raising will be discussed at future meetings and in future emails.
Money is tight for this group of warm-hearted individuals who seek to administer to the poor and spread the Gospel in Haiti. See here for a list of medications that are being requested. Chloroquine 250 mg for anti-malaria prophylaxis is also wanted.
